I've always thought that rule applied to EVERY family, i guess not. You would think that family would be the ones who are there through thick and thin when you need advice or when it's time to show your true talents. Most of the time during those times it seems like they are nowhere to be found. You may have a few family members holding you down but as far as them all coming together to support you (and it doesn't have to be necessarily financially), there's always a dream blocker standing in the way.A dream blocker is someone that always puts people down and is never the type of person to be there for anyone but always has their hands out expecting you to be there for them. When you identify your dream blocker, immediately confront them and let them know how your feeling and If the hating continues, show them the door. Many people make the mistake of repeatedly having to confront the person which I do not think is healthy AT ALL. Of course you want to forgive them but you never have to forget. And yes I know that they are your family members but take it from me....YOU CANNOT KEEP GOING THROUGH THE BACK AND FORTHNESS(YES I MADE THIS WORD UP) BECAUSE IT WILL TAKE A TOLL ON ONE'S LIFE AND IT'S JUST NOT WORTH THE REPEATED DECEPTION.
So I'll end with this, is blood really thicker than water?? I definitely want to hear what you guys think.
